Mr. D. 1'. Loeher, when n young man,
went te l'ottHville, I'.t., and engaged in
the currjiug business. Returning from
there te Lincaxter he started a currying
establishment nnd succeeded it with the
tanning industry, which be successfully
ami profitably developed during tbe war,
retiring from it 1(1 yemsnge, when be sold
the bushiest) te Myern A- Zeek. Six years
age he again established a tannery in as as as
