The Eminent Knglleh Divine Among Friends at HurllDgten. The steamer Arizona, of the Ouien line, arrived at ber deck, loot of King street, New Verk, at half past 9 o'clock Monday morning. He left New Yerk, at 4 p m. for Burling tOD, N. J., where be will make a short visit te some frieuds. During his stay he proposes te lecture in some of the principal cities en secular and religious questions. Among ether things he will lecture en art, painting, travel, education, and Catholicism and ether subjects. One of the principal objects of his visit is te study American institutions and observe their lnlluence upon the growth and de velopment of the Reman Catholic religion He will travel extensively thoueheut the West, going probably te San Francisce, and during his journeying he intends te carefully study the American educational system of which he says he has a high opinion.
