sion has occurred iu the government
powder magazine, situated iu Priddy's
Hard, in Portsmouth harbor. The build
iiiir was completely demolished. It is
reported that nine persons were killed and
a number injured by the explosion.

that two persons were killed outright by
the explosion at the powder inaga.iuu and
that four have siuce died from injuries
receved.
