New Helland the sum of 100, te be kept
at interest forever $3 of said interest te

thereof as may be necessary te keep the
crave of the teaUter and his father in
proper order, and if thcre be any re
mainder it is te go te the cause of home
missions of said church. The rest of the
estate is given te relatives.
The will of Paul Solemon, of this city,
uequeaias te at. Antheny's Catholic
church, this city, the sum of $200, and the
balance of his estate he devises te his wife
during her lifetime and after her death te
his bister Christina, new living in Upper
Franke, in Bavaria, and her children.

Frank Finney, late of the Grape hotel,
has opened a peel and billiard room in the
second iloer or Lecher's building, Centre
Square, and immediately ever the banking

occupied by Geerge II. Miller has just
been taken by Harry Cot eland, of the
Spiecher heuhc, and Dau Eaby, who have

Peter Connelly, an employee en the new
branch of the.Pennsylvania railroad, was
.severely injured this forenoon. He wa's
unloading ballast at Dilletville when he
had his leg caught between the dead weed
of two cars. The limb was crushed and
broken. He was taken te his bearding
house in Dillcrville, where Dr. Albright
attended him.

that the Court taking such an action would

say that you, upon investigation, will net be

readily seen that the taxpayers are out en

offered te our young men and women le be
led astray. Would it net he well ler our
court, or councils el our city, te appoint a
special officer, unknown te all Interested, te
examine anil see that our liquor law is nren-
eily enforced. Wcall knew that the constables
et the respective wards make sworn state- J
ments of no violation et the liquor law, hut I
am afraid that our noble fellows in considera
tion el being candidates ler re-election, de
net visit many et the saloons in their wurda
and consequently de net knew what Is going 4

wards the morality et the city, and I think
the Reed old city of Lancaster should fellow
