" On acceuut of failing health, the teacher of the lower primary school, in "Washington borough, Mr. Frank Iluth, was obliged te resign his position, which he did en last Tuesday evening, after hav ing taught there two and a half months. His successor is 5Ir. W. B. Mcixell, of Manhcitn, who was appointed by the beard en Saturday evening. Mr. Meirell is an experienced teacher, he having taught nine tcnas in this and ether coun ties, and taught the school of which he took charge again jestcrday morning the last four terms. In view of the fact that Mr. Iluth was a inembcr of the district institute, held by the teachers of Wash Wash ingteu borough, the members of said body at their regular ineetiug en Saturday, unanimously adopted the following rese lutiens : F.
