horrible triple murder about seven miles
from that citv. Jehn Simmons, a
heavy stock owner, left his home en
Sunday. Yesterday his herder named J.
L. Phillips, went out with the sheep. About
neon Mrs. Simmons was found lying in the
herder's room with her threat cut, and the
body bearing the evidence of an outrage
ous assault. An alarm was given and
seen after the bodies of Mrs. Simmons
child and her mother, Mrs. Parker, were
found.
