they have heretofore enjoyed of taking ,

Of the crop of 1S70 about 500 eas2.s were

On Saturday evening the Harrison musi
cal comedy company appeared at the opera
house before an audience of fair numbers
in their own cxt.-avnganza of "Photes."'
There is nothing in theconipesitiou calling
for analysis, being made up as it is of a
constant succession of ludicrous scenes
and incidents, quite beyond the pale
of commonplace description, with
here and there a dash of pretty
music, that for the time being cer
tainly please the average spectator and
auditor if they don't leave a very lasting
impression en his sensibilities. Leuis
Harrison is an original genius, a clever
comedian, whose take-oil's and burlesques
produced an immense hit. His sister,
Miss Alice Harrison, is a charming little
seubrcttc actress, who wen the immediate
favor of the audience by her piquancy, and
K. E. Graham's nonsensical " business"
added te the fun that prevailed fast and
furious from the outset. Miss Clara
Daniels played a very pretty fandango en
the guitar, "but there is nothing te he par
ticularly commended in her voice. There
are several ether people in the troupe who
fill up very nicely, the performance as a
whole being one that thoroughly pleased
the audience.
