After healing the testimony of the defendant and the officers who made the an est, the sentence was reduced 10 days, leaving him 20 days te serve. Rosanna 3Iiller was also before Judge Livingston for the purpose of having her transferred from the county prison te the insane asylum. It appeared that she had been committed te prison by a justice of the peace of Columbia, and seen after her cemmittment it was ascertained that she was insane.
