A Lbbs Separation.
Jehn and Daniel 3Iiiler discovered the
fctrawberryjaarks en their left shoulders
and rushed into -each ether's arms afew
daysgeinElmira, after a separation of
sixty years. They -were horn in Adams
county, Pennsylvania in 181G. They
& were four years old when their mother was
S left a widow. Beinjj destitute and in ill
--' heaith she was unable te support herself
and children. She sent Daniel te live with
friends in Washington county. Jehn found
a home in "Westmoreland county. Daniel
grew up and became a miller. Jehn learn
ed the blacksmith's trade. They never
saw or heard of each ether after leaving
their mother, and each .supposed that
the ether was dead. Mere than
fifty years aite Jehn Miller abandoned his
trade and became a tellgatc keeper en the
Butler turnpike in Allegheny county,
Penn. One day he went out of the house
te collect tell of an old gentleman who was
driving through the gate. A neighbor
steed by. He made the remark that the
traveler and the keeper looked enough
alike te be twins. This brought about
inquiries en the part of the two old- men.
The traveler proved te be Daniel Miller,
Jehn's twin brother. He had lived for
years in Bradford only a few miles
from the tellgatc in another county.
