Supreme Court, the Third Assistant
Postmaster General has seen lit, in the
absence of hit superiors, te set aside
said order. The grounds upon which he justi
fies this action are, that all lotteries in Ken
tucky have been repealed, and arc therefore
Illegal, and being illegal, are necessarily fraud
ulent, when, in fact, the lranchise under
which this company draws, unlike that of the
Louisiana Lettery Company, has never been
repealed, and yet the Postejflce department dis
criminates in favor of that Company.
Cemment is useless. Legal action will at
once be taken by this Company, and, until
further notice, correspondents arc requested
te send all remittances by plain letter or by
