Tebacce Market.
Seed Leaf MdHmaa.
U. 3. Tobacco Journal.
Soventy-nine Pennsylvania still takes
the lead in the quietness of the market.
It remains the favorite stock of sellers and
the most indifferent te buyers. The latter
turn their attention te '79 Connecticut,
Ohie and Wisconsin, and te all grades of
old stock. Frem a list in another column
it will be seen that buyers will net need te
leek for old stock with a candle for several
months te come. However, at last new
tobacco will be wanted, and from what we
can sec at present Connecticut will be the
leading article in this market. It is veiy
fine; and as manufacturers all ever the
country agree that there is great dimin
ishment in the demand for dark cigars,
Connecticut wrappers will sell m prefer
ence te Pennsylvania when stock is desired
for best quality cigars. Fer cheap, clear
seed goods, our manufacturers will use
everything cheap. Of course they will
prefer te use '79 Pennsylvania, and these
who offer cheapest will sell. Whenever
these who new like te represent them
selves as having packed only the finest of
the '79 Pennsylvania, and therefore en
titled te get some 20 or 25 cents for it, can
make up their minds that the finest is
net at all se fine as their imagination
pictures it, and that a jobber or man
ufacturer can make some money when he
can buy it at 15 or 1G cents, then they will
have no trouble in selling. Till then they
will remain the undisturbed holders of
such goods. Medium and fair lets arc
already being ettered at 12 te 14 cents,
but even at these figure buyers show an
almost feminine bashfulncss. Exporters
arc offering from 8 te 10 cents rcweight for
Pennsylvania suitable for their purpose.
With masculine fortitude, however, hold
ers as yet de net consent te such bargains.
Under these circumstances business cannot
be, and will net be for some time, other
wise than quiet. Manufacturers and job
bers have come te the conclusion that if
packers cheese te threw their money at
the growers, they need net threw theirs at
the packers.

Is exceedingly lianpy te announce te his nu

offices. The lollewlng appeared in the Col

been looking after the wants of Mr. Leng, pre
vailed upon him te try Dr. C. A. Greene, of
Lancaster, and I am pleased te say the etlect
of Dr. Greene's treatment Is magical. The
sick man is new almost like one raised from

A but one article, and that Is
REIGART'S OLD BRANDY,
Sold by our enterprising young Iricnd, II E
SLAYMAKER. This Brandy has -steed the
test for years, and has never failed, as lar
as our experience extends, and wc therefore
give it the preference ever all ether Brandies,
no matter with hew inaiiyjaw-breaklngFrcnch
titles they are branded. One-fourth of the
money tliat Is yearly thrown away en various
impotent dyspepsia specifics would surtlce te
buy all the Brandy te cure any such case or
ceses. In proof of the curative powers et
Reigart's Old Brandy,
In cases et Dyspepsia, we can summon iiuui
bers of witnesses one case In particular we
cite:
A hard-working larmer had been aillicted
with an exhaustive Dyspepsia ler a number of
years; his stomach would reject almost every
kind of feed; he had sour eructatiens con
stantly 110 appetite In fact, he was obliged te
restrict his diet te crackers and stale bread,
and as a beverage he used McGrann's Reet
Beer. He is a Methodist, and then, as new,
S reached at times, und in his discourses often
eclaimcd earnestly against all kinds of strong
drink. When advised te try
Reigart's Old Brandy,
1 In Us case, he looked up with astonishment.
but after Hearing 01 its weniicnni cuecis m
the cases of some of his near acquaintances, he
ut last consented te fellow our advice. He
usej the Brandy faithfully and steadily; the
first bottle giving him an appetite, ami before
the sec"u was uiKcn nc was a kuiuiu iuun, mi
a stemat'b capable of digesting anything which
lie chose 1 e eat. He still keeps It and uses a lit
tle npiin.-ially: and since lie has this incdi-
cine he hasVeen of very little pecuniary bene
fit te the doctor. A l-BAeriaiau iii.biuab.
