Business in old tobaccos, especially '78 Pennsylvania, has been quite lively, -while all growths of the '79 crop remained neg lected, greatly contrary te the anticipa tions of the sanguine purchasers of the lat ter crop. Se far but one or two manufacturers have purchased '79 Pennsylvania. There certainly will be a demand for it in a few months, and these that offer it at the lowest figures will, of course, be the first te sell. There will be such a multitude of sellers that the broker who secures buyers will undoubtedly be come amest popular personage. The '78 Pennsylvania is selling lively.
