About one hundred years after, in the reign of Henry III., it read thus. "Fidcr. Theu art in heaven blisse Thine Ilelye name it wurt the bliss Cu;nen and met Thy kingdom Thine holy will it be all den, In heaven and in earth also Te it shall be in full wett Ic tre," etc. In the reign of nenry VI. it began thus : "Our Fader, thou art in heavens, hal licwed be Thi name : the Kingdom come te Thee : be the will I am in in earth as in heaven," etc. In 1537 it began thus : "O, our father, which art in heaven! hallowed be Thy name.
