Amusement Notes What the Flayer are Doing. Edward Arnett, who formerly played "TLc Gascon, " is in Kate Claxton's company. Minnie "Wallace, of the Wallace Sisters, has been lying quite ill in Chicago for seme time past. B. W. Turner, of the " Dr. Clyde " com pany; was here with Bcanlan and Crenin. Last year he was a member of the Walnut stect stock company. The young men of this city who imag ine they can dance will have a chance te empete for the cup at Temmy Mack's hhew. D. JJ. JTedges who was business mana ger of Teny Denicr's pantomime troupe until recently, will go ahead of Haverly's Mastodon minstrels shortly. Mr. H. P. Carsen, the popular bill pos pes ter, who has been sick for some time past, is able te be about again. He is looking very well. It is said that a strong company contem plates visiting us in the popular comedy of "Our Girls." " Our Beys " have been played here and the "Girls" shall de well. Charles B. Griste, who was here ahead of the "Goblins," -will take out Will Gil lette's "Professer" company shortly, and he will manage one of M. B. Leavitt's troupes next vear. Temmy Mack will give a minstrel enter tainment in this city en March 15, at which the " Big 3," composed of McSerley, Turner, and Mack, will appear. The show will close with a pie eating match, which will be something new iu this city. Hank Parmelcc, a thorough gentleman and one of the best men in the business, is new business manager of Teny Denier's pantomime company. Five years age Mr. l'armelec was here as manager of lieergc L. Fex's treup, and he was here recently as lithographer for Mr. Denicr's. Geerge W. Goedhart and Jehn Wcrtz, of this city, will go out with Cooper & Bailey's Londen show . The former as a lithographer and the latter as a bill pester. Geerge Cummings, who is known in the circus ring as "Geerge Whitby," will ride in one of Sells Brethers' shows.
