Benjamin Fritz, in Quarryville, to-mor

pose of organizing a Grant and Colfax
Club. Capt. J. P. Itea, of Lancaster,

others will address the meeting.
At a meeting of the citizens of Upper
Leacoek township, held at Mechanics
burg, a short time since, for the purpose
of organizing a Grant and Colfax Club.
Isaac Bushong, Esq., Was elec'cd Chair
man, and 11. K. Swope, Secretary. Com
mittees on permanent organization, on
Constitution and By-Laws, &c., were ap
pointed, when the meeting adjourned to
reassemble on Wednesday, the 24th inst.
The Warwick township Grant and
Colfax Club will meet at Rothsville, on
Sept. 12th. Capt. E. 11. Rauch and other
speakers will address the meeting.—
The friends of Grant, Colfax and Liberty
are invited to attend.
On Saturday evening last a large and
enthusiastic meetings of the friends of
Grant and Colfax was held at Texas,
Fulton township. The meeting was pre
sided over by Mr. Henry Carter, and ad
dresses were delivered by M. M. Rutt,
Esq., and Capt. J. P. Rea. The meeting
closed with rousing cheers for Grant and
Colfax and the Republican State ticket.
