ALL FOR MOIEI.
BY M. &• M. TATLCR.
What a funny world is ours,
Very funny!
Full of sunshine, full of flowers,
Full of money ;
But the Inst is hard to get,
What a pity !
Many are in want of it,
In the city;
In the village, in the town-
Men are wandering up and down,
Through the valleys, o'er the hills,
Selling notions, vending pills,
And Ids land the farmer tills,
All for money,
That is funny !
What a funny world is ours '
Very funny!
Full of thorns at*l lull of flowers,
Full of money;
Moncv, MOVE v, is the lage,
"All are striving,
In this truly GOLDEN age,
To be thriving.
•Concert singers travel round,
Murdering all harmonious sound,
Dandies undertake to preach,
Rustics leave their plows to teach,
Statesmen oft will make a speech,
All for money.
That is funny!
What a funny world is ours,
Very funny !
Full of sweets and full of sours,
Full of money ;
Men for money toil and slave,
Ceasing never,
From the cradle to the grave,
Striving ever.
Priests and coblers take their tools,
Blessing, PATCHING up our SOULS,
Doctors either "cure or kill,"
Clerks will rob the merchant's till,
Tailors bring a WICKED BILL,
All for money,
That is funny !
What a funny world is this,
Very funny !
Full of misery, full of bliss,
Full of money,
Magic money ! PASSING strange
Is thy power;
Meu will change, but for CHANGE
Every hour.
Editors and printers toil,
Writers, sense and grammar spoil,
Teachers learn our boys to read.
Many men will shape their creed,
Lovers, lawyers, lie and plead,
All for money.
That is funny !

De Possum am a animal de same as

De Possum am a kurious kind ob crit

De Possum aint gof no feet, de hole

de same ease and quickness dat he clime

You hub all heard, no doubt, ob de long

pletely cured by it within the last year, which have
been entirely despaired of by the regular family physi
cians. We do not recommend it to cure everything—we
recommend it to cure Dyspepsia, and .he d seases origi
nating from it, and that it will cure in almosi every case,
and it is recommended for nothing else. In many in
stances, even the worst of cases have been completely
cured in two and lltree months, but it depends somewhat
upon the constitution of the patient. We would say to
all who are afflicted with Dyspepsia, give this medicine
a fair trial, and if it fails to do good, your money will be
returned.
ALSO,
My Vegetable Worm Powders.
This is the most wonderful Worm Destroyer ever
known, and at the same time, so pleasant nytake, that
almost every child will be fond of it, and many instances
have been known of children crying for more after once
taking it.
This medicine is in the form of a powder, the only ]
medicine ever used in that form, and it operates on a
principle entirely different from any other medicine ever
administered by any other physician. It is the only
medicine which has no Worm-seed Oil or Turpentine j
combined with it, which is believed by all other physi
cians, to be the only two things which will destroy
worms, and these two things combined, togeiher with
castor oil, are the active principles of all other worm
medicines, which every person who has ever tasted or
smelted, knows to be the most nauseous of all nauseous
medicines, ami on account of which, there is generally
something added to destroy this nauseous taste, and in
order to do this, it must he something stronger than the
medicine itself, and therefore, it must necessarily destroy |
some of its medicinal properties. These powders are
simple and so harmless, that a child may eat a whole box
at once, arid it will not be hurt, while at the same time,
the principle upon which it acts being different from any
thing else ever used, it will destroy all kinds of Worms
with a certainty never equaled. It will not only destroy
the seat worms, or Ascarides, and long, round worms,or
Teres, but is the most effectual medicine for the destruc
tion of the Tape Worm ever known. Ten doses have
brought as many as FIVE Tape Worms from one person.
If yonr children have any symptoms of worms, try
these powders, and in nine cases out of ten, you will nev
er use any other. These are also warranted.
These medicines arc all separate, and one for each dis
ease, and each for only one disease. They are not re
commended, as many other medicines are, to cure some
fifteen or twenty diseases, and all of different natures,
but they ate each to cure but one disease, and ti at they
will do in ninety -nine rases out of every hundred, and
where tlicv have a fair trial and fail in all cases, the
money will be returned.

CERTIFICATES :
This is to certify that I purchased twenty
pair of new bedsteads with Hinkley's patent
elastic spring bottom in, am well pleased with
them, consider them a good article, and would
buy no others. I would recommend them to
all persons,as they are easily screwed together,
and can be kept cleaner than any hitherto made.

I concur with the above and consider it a

"For a long lime I was afflicted with general debility
and intestinal weakness, euetiveness, sc., for which I used
many different remedies, without change. At last 1 acj

prepared by you. 1 took a few bottles according to di

healthy for ten years as I have been since I took your
bitters, which was about one year ago. Some of my
neighbors are now using them, and deriving great ben

ANOTHER LETTER,
From Dr. J. C O/LKS, Jfewton Hamilton. Pa , said:
'•I have used a half dozen of your German Bitters my

DYSPEPTICS AND SKEPTICS, READ.
In three-fourths of the cases of diseased Liver, Stom

German Bitters, (prepared only by Dr. Jackson, at the
Medicine Store, 120 Arch street,) is as positive as in the

LANCASTER. April 30, 1830.
Respected Sir: 1 have been for a series of years afflict
ed with Dyspepsia, Inactivity of the Liver, and Nervous
Debility. My mental powers have been so reduced as
to render me quite unfit for the transaction ofany kind
of business. After consulting many eminem physicians,
and using their prescriptions, and after using the most
popular remedies of the day, supposed to be applicable te
my case, I always failed to have permanent relief. A
friend, with much persuasion, induced me to try a bottle
of your celebrated Bitters. 1 have used one bottle, and
this day commenced the second. 1 can with cheerful
ness state that it has happily improved me. My appe
titc and spirits have astonishingly improved, and 1 begin
to feel as though I had grown (suddenly) ten years
younger, and really, 1 am almost prepared to say that I
now consider myself calculated for any business, while,
ten days ago, 1 would have as soon undertaken to squurt
a circle as to have attempted it.
Yours respectfully, A. A KAUFMAN.

"Dr. Iloofland's German Bitters, manufactured by Dr.
Jackson, are now recommended by some of the most
prominent members of the faculty, as an article ofmuih
efficacy in cases of female weekness. As such is the
case, vve would advise all mothers to obtain a bottle, and
thus save themselves much sickness. Persons of debili

to their health, as we know front experience the salutary
effect they have upon weak systems."
