wants just that sort of a thing, it will
bring us into close communion with all

to the apportionment of this borouch
into wards, is that a new school house
will have to bo built. A ilinsy kick of

only a question of a short time when
another school houso must go up to

We often hear of men spending largo
sums of money to improvothe industri
al interests of his city, and thus rear
ing a name that will lire long after he
has passed away. In this connection
we might very proporly Bay, what are
tho capitalists of Lehighton doing to
perpotuate their memory? What, oh.
what! Let tho wind answer.
It strikes us that the Italian govern
ment puts rather a strong ohllmateou
hor throo subjocts lynched by the mob
in Now Orleans recently. She want
from 825.000 to 875,000 for each one ol
the three dead men. According to
those figures, a dead Italian is worth
just $25,000 to $75,000 moro thau alive
one.
