How Are How Varieties of Potatoes Fro

Wo must In the first place state that the
potato Is not a root at all, but a short, thick
ndarground branch of the plant, we havo
several times seenind nodoubt many of our

We must start wllh the Idea, then, that the

poit of the neach. Certain branches on
yellow plum trees have produced red plums,
and shoots on purple grape vines have
borne white grapes. In flowers, especially
roses, these variations are very numerous,
