of winter wheat, withstands the sever,

winter wheat.

of these potatoes, cut lo two hundred
and fitly pieces ol one to two ye each,

pieces about six Inches apart. The soil

tollage was luxuriant and the. blossoms
prolue. They commenced to bloom
June 18. About eighty-five or ninety
