A CURIOUS PRAYSR.—The Syracuse Star is re•
aponsible for the following:—ln the State of
Ohio there resides a family consisting of an old
men by the name of Beaver, and hie three sons,
, all of Whom are bud "pets," 'who have often
laughed to scorn the advice and entreaties of a
pious, though very'' eccentric Minister, who re.
sides in the same town. It happened that one
of the boys was bitten by a rattlesnake and was
mutated to die, when the Minister was sent fur
