GRAFTING WAX.—This being the
season for grafting, we publish for the beoefit of
fruit growth the old receipt fur making graftiuti

two parts beef tallow. These are melted togetb r

The new grafting wax referred to, made and'
applied as follows i—"biolt two ounoes of rosin„
slowly so as to make it throw off its stirits of tar=
pouting. When it becomes perfeotly clear, add a
little loss than an ounce of alcohol, mix well, and
at onco oork tight In a bottle. Add Aloohol after-
wards to make it a medium liquid,, and apply
with a small brush or wociden. blade. Like the
foregoing it is said to form , an air-tight'covaring,
wb lob is the' objebt aimed at by all: applications
in grafting." The perfect covering for grafts is
that which will always adhere to the stook, and
