ON DlTS.—Since the Opposition
have become the.defenders of the rights of our
naturalized citizens, it is proposed that Twig
Council No 37, of Lebanon, which was in so
flourishing a condition in 1854 and 1855, be reas
sembled, for the purpose of affording the mem..
bore an opportunity to purge themselves of their
oaths then taken against citizens of foreign
birth. It is supposed that the purging •opera

on the knees and repeating their Know-Nothing
Oaths backwards. The lacers of Twig No, 17,
to vary the monotony of the exercisesovill stand
on their beads during the Meeting. [P. S.—We
still have the listof.officers aid members of Twig
