A very Mt accident owurred in the south ern end of the county lust Friday evening. The particulars are: Mrs. Martha J. McCoy and her hunliand, Mr. John McCoy, raiding in Heeenria township, were returning home hurt Friduy night from a visit to a sick neighbor, and when descending a steep hill in the lane near John H. Weld's residence, one of the straps aUxit the haniesa broke. Mr. McCoy was iu the act of getting out of the buggy to repair the humcm when he tripped and fell to the ground seiinelea, having fallen head foremnnt. When eonscionsness returned, he found Mm. McCoy lying on the ground a short distance from him, the horse and the buggy gone. He went to her, and asked her if she was Imdly hurt, but received no reply to that and other Interrogatories, He then called her bv nninr, and still no reply.
