Robbery. A fellow named Frank

Editorial Association has been fixed for the week

will be spent. On Wednesday there will be an
excursion to Pen Yen, Keuka Lake, Hammonds

be an excursion on Sen oca Lake, with the annual
dinner of the Association in the evening. On
Friday the party will return homeward. This
will make, without a doubt, a Tory pleasant trip.
In 187t, and 1872 the Association rendeavousci
at Williamsport, going in the former year
to Watkina Glen, and In the latter to Erie
and the Oil Regions. Both excursions
were extremely satisfactory, and led to the
subsequent ones which the Association has taken.

A Monster Locomotive. The rail
road shops at Altoona have recently turned out
some large engines. The Harrlsburg Patriot, of
Friday last, gives tha following description of
ono of them: "Yesterday th Johnstown ir-

was brought from Altoona by a mammoth engine.

pounds. It contains eight driving wheels and Is
modelled after th Modoc freight engine. It

speed. Tbe engine will draw fast passenger

Pennsylvania railroad between Philadelphia and
New York. It ii calculated that the new eagin
will run ninety-six milei In ninety minutei. A
