Mr. George M. Thompson, of Brady township,
icattered a bushel and three pecks of buckwheat
on a patch of ground. lie threshed bis crop last
week, and got a yield of !64 buifael of buck
wheat. Does that kind of farming pay F That
is certainly a wonderful percentage.
A. M. Fleck unearthed a lot of po
tatoes on Monday ,of the Fearless variety ,that goes
a little ahead of those ia Brady township, noticed
eliewhere In this paper. The largest of eight on
exhibition weighed 2 pounds and li ounces, the

Our Thirteenth Annual Fair Is over Oa Wed
nesday, Thursday and Friday the personal turn
out was large and the receipts liberal. We
have attended tha thlrteta gatherings, and
were highly p eaaed to wltnesi the Ita prove meat

heep, bogr, etc., on the ground, but what they
lacked ia aombera was made np la tha blood. la

ble everywhere. What we hare say about the
stock, is also true of tba farm products. Finer
graia, fruit and vegetables, cannot be found else
where. 1b rhort, the Fair was a success, and for
nearly four days tha people realty enjoyed tbem
lalns, save while brubiag away a little dust
that was floating around pretty thickly. Let the
officer get ready now and prepare for next year.
