ANOTHER f IRC AT WOODLAND.
Last week wo ehroalcled tbo burning of the
Hope Fire-Brick Works, at Woodland, and this
week we are called upon to record another da-
straotlv fire la that Tillage. About 1 o'clock on
Sunday morning fire waa discovered la tbo saw
mill of the Albert Brothers, by a party of young
men living la Woodland, and who were returning
to their homo at that hour from a visit to Clear
field. While tbey were putting their horse la tbe
stable, a small light was discovered la tbe mill,
and they Immediately started toward U, suppos
ing at first that some persoa was la tbe mill with
a lantern. Tbey suoa discovered, however, that
It wa a genuine fir, and, after giving tbe alarm,
did their almost to prevent It spread. But their
efforts were futile, and la flv minutes after Its
discovery the mill waa all a perfect blase of fir.
Almost simultaneously with tbe fire at tho mill
tbe piles of boarda were fired, and toon all ware
destroyed by tbo devouring element.
Tbo mill bad not beea la operation slnee the
