An Important Movement.--Wepuli-Hsh
In our advertising columns, this week, a call
for a convention of lumbermen to meet at Clear

for the purpose of devising soma plan, to as to
avoid an overstocking of the square-timber
market next Spring. Aa will be observed, nearly
all the leading dealers in this county bare signed
the call, and we have no doubt tbe movement will
meet the approbation of all who are permanently
embarked la tbe business and who wish to "pro
tect and defend" the trade at home and In the

while division and straggling will work to the
Injury of the manufacturer and the buyer and
seller alike.
