party ha heen pronounced upon high
political authority to be dead. .Now
this dead party just at present tjas the
Governor and Legislature of Connect
icut. It has tho Stato officers of New
York with all the patronage of the
Canal Board, and a uovcrnor in New
ersoy. It has the Governor and Le
islature of Delaware ; ditto Marylnn.
Virginia and est V irginia. ln ir-
