Corrected. In examining the re
turns, after the board of return judgee bad ad
journed, we noticed that there was a mistake of
60 in Dr. Boycr'a Tote in Boggs, and a similar
error of S Totes for Dr. Potter in CurweneTllle.
The vote of the former was put down at 30, when
the official pipers show that it was 70, while Dr.
Potter's rote in CurwensrUle was 128 instead of
490, making the majority of the latter 100 instead
of ISO.

an old resident of Decatur townsblp, says : Death
has stricken an old resident of this vicinity in the
person of Airs. Elijah Reese, a lady nearly seven
ty years of age and a resident of the vicinity for
over forty years. She emigrated from England
to this plaoe at an early day and has always re
sided Us the neighborhood. She died on Tuesday,
the funeral taking plaoe on Wednesday.

ent at ACrysvllle, Doggs township, luforms as
that an enthusiastic railroad meeting was held in
that plaoe one night last week. Speeches were
made and a committee appointed to solicit sub-
scrlptions toward the building of a railroad from
Kylertown, down Morgan's Run and op Little
Clearfield Creek, thence to the great West. We
want those Clearfield cracker's to understand that
-that read is coming this way, acoording te prom
ise, and if they cheat as out of It they will got
themselves Into a sorspe. Howerer, ws presume,

Lewlsburg, a brother of Hev. Wm. II. Dill, of this
place, has been re elected to the State Senate from
tueetrong Republican district of Nerthumberlend,
Union, Snyder and Perry. He has served one
year la the Moose and throe in the Senate, always
representing a. strong Republican constituency,
but his skirts have been so clear, bis bands so
eleen, and Me fidelity to his people such as to te
cure bim the great personal triumph. Forney's
free almost rejoieea at his return to the Senate
from the fact, we presume, that he slaughtered
Cameron's Wagonecller, whe was alio the nun
cendidate.

The deceased was a daughter of John Kline, one
-of the first settlers of Bradford township, as ber
husband Is a son of one of the first settlers In the
-county. The parents of both were well known to
the present generation of grand fathers, and per

both sides are largely ewnnceted In our county
and are in fact representative families. "Peace
