election. A reformation was badly needed in the
old borough.

laid a sad athVtioo befell tho family of Uobert
Milligan in Madison township, Perry county. On
that night three of their children, the youngest
aged abont three years and the oldest twelve yenr',
died from son r let fever. The deaths all occur ml
within fifteen minutes. It ii one of the saddest
cases we hare had occasion to record. They have
but one left and that one is ldO ill with the fever.

certainly too unlucky to be a pleaeaut traveling
companion.
