The late letter of Attorney Gener

to the effect that tho "govern men l"

new hopo into all tho decent people
of that military despotism. The

our design if our delinquents pay up

The L'mo.n Victory. The late

After all Iho exertions of Governor
Bullock, seconded by General Grant
and General Butler, it is now coiisid.
ored cerium tliat un election will lake
place in Georgia, this full. As an elec
tion is equivalent to a Democratic
victory, liullock and his gung of job
bers and plunderers pre in great dis
tress. It beats all w hul a passion drunken
men have for lying down on railroud
trucks for a quiet sleep. At Morris,
III., two men, named MeAlpino and
Oswald, got their kegs full and went
to bod on tho llock Island JioaJ, and
in s few minutes they were in the
Laud of the Leal, all hushed to pieces.
A passenger on the Albany train
put his head out the window atSpuy
ten Duyvel bridge, and when he took
it in his head wusn't on. llo was the
most surprisedesl man you ever saw.
His funeral occurred the next day.
