frage at the late election. The former

fifty-nine votes for tho Democrats and
seventy-nine for tho Radicals, being a
loss of but twenty to tho former. Tho
tablo elsewhere shows tho vote in de
tail, lirndy is tho only ono of the
largo districts that showed any real
vitality. Some of the sniullerdistricts
acquitted themselves nobly; among
them Curwcnsvillo, Ferguson, Goshen,

ing their Governors and gaining sev
eral members of Congress, and one, if

of Moj-gun and Frelinghuysen. Wo
hope to see Seymour and Stockton
occupy the seats of thoso two celebra
ted "loilista."
