those that yield the largest net profit. Statements
are to be furnished by the exhibitors. They must
be measured or weighed, aiid a sample furnished
at the Fair.
Applicants for premiums must furnish the Com
mittee with a statement, signed by themselves,
under a pledge of veracity, of the quantity of
grain raised on the ground entered fur premium,
and must state correctly as he can the kind and
condition of the previous crops; the kind and
quantity of seed sown, and the time and mode of
putting tt in tne ground. -
Persons entering field crops for exhibition, or
intending to do so, nioy give notice the Executive
Committee at anvtinic.and hare the field measured
and examined by a committee while growing.
