Northern Central Railroad bridge over

ment. We understand that 1.0 portion
of the money is now required by I ho Sec
rotary of the Treasury. The State having
pledged her faith (or the safe- keeping of
this fund and its repayment upon t tie rt"
qnisition of the Secretary of the Treaiury,
is now bound to fulfil its obligation.

day, and is to bo deprived of any partici
pation in the fruits of victory; he has
planted tho vineyard, but others will cn

of people who put their faith in princes,
or place confidence in the promises of
