To chit nsVioin the dreurny pa at,
Each joyous forest hour;
And with tho fooling nature gives,
Confess ifieir sovereign power.
Their sovereign power to find the soul,
That loves full well to roam,
Amid the wild and tangled wood,
Ana there to find a home;
Who when with nature at his feet,
Her canopy o’erhead—
Can feast nenid her gorgeousness,
With bounty there outspread. !
’Tis thus I love to wander back,
On fancy’s ready wing—
And room mnid those pleasant vales,

To note the music mode,
