Academy, Wednesday evening, Jan. 15,
for his benefit. The receipts were
$ 57.63. and the ladies took up a collec
tion for Mrs. Vanvrwlenburg amount
ing to $lB. The excuses were ai*ut
SJo. The Inclemency of the weather
probably kept many away. Tlieoysteis
were very fine, and were served in gnat
abundance. The company seemed to
enjoy the occasion very much, and the
utmost good feeling prevailed. Just
after midnight the minister very kindly
