supply of paper shipped at Elmira two

the Pittsburg Daily Dispatch•, of Dec.
17, 1856. On the wrapper it wee
stamped "America, Liverpool Jan. 1,"
from which we infer that it has takea
a journey. since its date, of over 6000
miles. But what could have taken it

count for it upon no other hypothesis
than accident; and hope our friends
across the salt water pond will always
