dersport Academy. are moved by a sense of
official and per6im d i duty to invite the at
tention of the Public--ol parents in partic
ular, to the rising an i nieful character of
this InstitutiJn of Lelrnitm. When invited,
a little in ,re than a half-year ago, to the
superintendence of its atfairs, we found it
depressed and still declining. We requested
Mr. J. Id; oo tiNGOttl.e. to become its Priuci
pal Tracer, and entiusted its organization
and °the' m st onerous affairs to hia discre
tion and m nagentent. Experience' has
proved him to lie faithful, ellieient, and
practical—just Fuch an instructor as this
community need. The [mintier of pupils
in the school is now over sixty. We refer
to Mr. Bloomingdale's adverti=ement for
information as to the terms and conditions
on which pupils are adinilted, and for other

agreeably to an act' of Assembly; passed
the 13th day of March, 1815. entitled an act
to amend au act, directing the mode of selling
unseated lauds for taxes; etc., and the several
supplements thereto t the following tract! of
unseated Inuda in the county of Potter will be.
exposed-to public sale or outcry, for all
rearsges of taxes, at the court-house in the
said county of, Potter, on the second Monday
