The object of this com pany is to make a Railroad from some point on the Susquehanna River, at or near Columbia,where it will connect with .the Reading and Columbia Railroad, by a,bridge built by the joint companies ; from thence by York, Gettysburg and Waynesboro to the Maryland line, using as much of the old "Tape Worm” on the route as yill be found suitable.
