Having inherited s Scrofulous Infection, I linen suffered
from ft in various ways for years. Some lutes it burst
out in Ulcers on my hands and arms: tionteititues it
turned inwanl and distressed me at the •tounaclt. Two
years ago it broke out on my head and entered my scalp
and ears with one axe, which was painful and loathsome
beyond description. I tried many medicines and several
physicians, but without much relief from any thing. In
fact, the disorder grew worse. At length 1 wan nuiticeil
to rend in the Gospel Messenger that you bad prepared
an alterative (Sartraparilln), for I know from your reputa
tion that any thing you made must be good. I sent to
Cincinnati and get it, and used it till it cured me. 1 took
it, as you ndvlse, in small doses of a tenspoonfitl over a
month, and used almost three bottles. New and healthy
skin soon Kogan to form under the suth, which after a
while fell off. Sly skin is now clear, and I know by my
feelings that the disease bits gone front my system. Ton
can well believe that I feel what I am saying when I tell
you, that I hold you to be tine of the apostles of the ago,
