We the undersigned Auditors of Lancaster
county, do certify that we have•carefuliy ex
amined the above account of Michael R.-thick,
Esq., Treasurer of said county, and . compared'
his voochers with the tame, and find a balance
in his bends of fifty-two thousand, seven •hun
dred and thirty-tour dollars and fifteen cents
($32,731 15.)
We have exesnined the account of .William
Gorrect, Esq., Treasurer of the Poor and !louse
of Employment of Lancaster county, and•tind
a balance in his bands of seven hundred and
twenty-one dollars and fifty-seven cent5.(6.1.23
37) on the Ist day of Sanuary,lB6.l.
We have also examined the account of *Hugh
S. Gara, Esq., Treasurer of the Board of Prison
Inspectors, and find it correct, and showing a
bhlance due him„by the said Board, on the Ist
day of January, 1861, of seven hundred ant
sixty-four dollars and forty-six cents. ($764 46.) )
The liabilities of the county for individuel
lcians, at the present time at .5 per cent per
annum, amount to $1'_'G,72075; deducting the
amount in hands of the Treasurer ($52,734 13)
would show an indebtedness of $73,086 60.
The outstanding taxes amount to $17,213 88.
