Pennsylvania,: and that one ; IS in, I.anca?pr
county. It will be remembered that by the
emapcipatimxact of Pennsylvania, in : .1.780;
all colored persons born after a certain day
in that year were to by fiee at the age of 28
years, and all darlcies who were in cristence
at said date, were to remain slaves. •
