and Obadiah Risinger, on a warrant
issued by Justice MeizeJ,-charging them
with stealing a lot of fancy pigeons. They

On Saturday evening Mr. J. (J.-Wil
liams, the turnkey at the Juil, was pass
ing the cell of Dr. Charles Buzzett, other
wise Dr. Waltz, under sentence for
larceny, he hoard threats from the Doctor
against him ; hut paying no attention to
what he considered mere idle raving, he
passed on. A her having made his round
ami was again approaching the Doctor’s
cell, a stick of wood was thrust out,
which caused him to stop, ami as ho did
so, he was struck by u half a brick, bul led
through the little square hole in the door,
by the prisoner, indicting a very painful
wound ou Mr. Williams'right cheek.
The Doctor slated to the reporter that he
