permit the voters oft bis Commonwealth to vote
every three years, on the question of granting
licenses toaell Intoxicating liquors.”
Section' 1. Jic it enacted by the Senate uml House

enacted by Ihe authority of (he same. That on tuo
• third Friday In March, one thousand eight hun
dred and seventy-three, In every city and coun
ty In this Common wealth, and at the annual
municipal elections every third year thereafter,
In every such city and county, It aha'LDothe
duty «1 the inspectors and judges of elections In
the cities andcounties, to receive tickets, either
written or printed, from the legal voters oi said
cities and counties, labeled on the outside, “li
cense," and on the inside “for license,” or
“against license,” and to deposit said tickets in
a box provided fur that purpose by said inspec
tors and Judges, ns Is required by law In the
•asoof utlier tickets recolv ed at said election ;
a aud the tickets so received snail bo counted,
and a return of the sumo made to the clerk of
the Court ol Quarter sessions of the Ponce of the
fnopor county, duly coriltled ns is required by.

tho proper county shall then refund, to tho
holder of such license, the moneys so paid
therefor, for which the Said treasurers shall be
eutitled to credit In his accounts with the Com
monwealth.

purposes ; provided, The citizens of the borough
ol Lebanon shall vote upon the question on the
third Friday, of March, one thousand eight hun
dred and seventy-ihroo, on the same day and
time when the townships of tho cbuuty of Leb
anon holu their* spring elections.
