with a bueiness of an unusual amount already es
lablisbed, and intending largely to increase it, os*
peoially with those who buy FOR CASH, and be
lieving that the fairftst system in jobbing goods la
to have uniform prices, they will be compelled lu
•ell at a much smaller profit than can possibly be
afforded where long credits are given.
Under their Cash and Shod Credit system the
necessity for charging large profit* does not exist,
and by welling their goods at a very small advance
on foreign coal. They moan to make it the Intereel
of every judge of goods, to buy on the following

and Walnut Ties, 8 feel In length, (exclusive of
kerfs,) well hewn on two opposite and parallel
sides, with fanes not less than 9 inches in width,
and 6 inches in thickness between faces, 33 cents
each will bo paid.
For Ties of samo length and quality as above,
with from 7 to 9 inches face and 5 inches in thick
ness, 28 cents each will be paid.
