Health! Health it
The most Effectual of all known Remedies!
Dr. Drake’s Panacea,
THE ONLY RADICAL CURE FOR CON
SUMPTION!
IT also removes and permanently cures all diseases
arising from ati impurißttate of the blood, viz I .
(Scrofula or King’s Evil; Rheumatism, Obstinate
Cutaneous Eruptions, Pimples or PestUles on tho
face, Blotches, Biles, Chronic Sore Eyes, Ring Worm
or Tetter, Scald Head, Enlargement and Pain of the
Bones and Joints, Stubborn Ulcers, Syphilitic Symp
toms, Sciatica or Lumbago, diseases arising from an
injudicious use of Mercury, Dropsy, Exposure orlm
prudence in life; also, Chronic Constitutional Disor
ders.
In this medicine several innocent but very potent
articles of the vegetable kingdom are united, forming
a compound entirely different in its character and
properties from any other preparation, and unrivalled
in its operation on the system when laboring under
disease. It should bo in (he hands of every person,
who. by business, or general course of life, is predis
posed to the very many ailimenta that render Ufo a
curse, instead of a blessing, and so often result in
death.
FOR SCROFULA,
Dr. Brake’s Panacea is recommended as a certain re
medy. Notone instance of its failure has over oc
curred when freely used! It cures the disease and at
the same time imparts vigor to the whole systems
SctoftiloUs persons can never pay too much attention
to the state of their blood. Its purification should be
their first aim* for perseverance willaccomplish a cure
of even hereditary disease. -
FOR ERUPTIONS OF THE SKIN,
Scurvy, Scorbutic Affections, Tumors,. White Swell
ing. Erysipelas, Ulcers, Cancers, Running Sores,
Scabs and Biles, Dr. Drake’s Panacea cannot bo too
highly extolled; it searches out the very root of the
disease, und by removing it from the.system, mokes
0 cure certain and permanent. .
RHEUMATISM,
Dr. Drake’s Panacea is used with the greatest sue*
cess In Rheumatic Complaints, especially such as are
chronic. It cures by driving out all impurities and
foul humors which hove accumulated in the system,
Which are the cause of Rheumatism,Gout, and Swel
lings of the joints. Other remedies sometimes give
temporary relief; this entirely eradicates the disease
from the system, even when the limbs and bones ate
drcadfhlly swollen.
CONSUMPTION.
CoKstiMf Tioiv can ns curxd. —CoUghs, Cdtarrh,
Bronchitis, Spitting of blood, AslhmU. Difficult or
profuse oxpectorotion, Hectic Flush, Night Sweats,
Poin the side, dec., have been cured, and can be with as
much certainty as ahy other simple disease. A spe
cific has long beeh sought for, hut in voln until the
discovery of Dr- Drake’s Panacea. It Is mild and
safe but, certain and efficacious in its operation, and
cannot possibly injure the most delicate constitution.
We would earnestly recommend, those afflicted to
give it a trial—and we believe they will not have oc
casion to regret it. The system is cleansed and
strengthened, the ulcers on the lungs are healed, and
, the patients gradually regain their usual health and
strength. Read the following!
TESTIMONY.
Puili., Dec* 14,1847.
Deab Sxn; — ln reply to your question respecting
the use of Dr. Drake’s Panacea, 1 will say, that ah
though a perfect disbeliever in the existence of- a Pa*
nacea,or cure for'all diseases) however valuable it:
maybe In certain conditions of the system* still 11
I have believed that a cure for Consumption would be'
I discovered sooner or later* and cuiiosity led roe to try
your medicine in two very inveterate cases. They
were pronounced by the attending physicians to be
pulmonary consumption* and abandoned by them oa
incurable. One of the persons had been under the
treatment of several very able practitioners fot a num
ber of years, and they said sbo hud ** old fashioned
consumption combined with scrofula,” and that she
might linger for some time, but could not be perma*
ncntly relieved. In both cases the effect of tho Pans*
! cea has been most gratifying. Only four or five boh
i ties were used by one of the persons before she begah
to Improve rapidly. The other took about ten, I
will only add that familiar as I am with consumption
by inheritance and by extensive observation as a slu
dy, and knowing also tho Injurious effects, in nine
cases out of ten Of tar, bpneset, and other vegetable
tonics, as well as of many of the expectorants and
sedatives, I should never have recommended the use
of Drjko’s Panacea if I bad not been acquainted with
the ingredient?. Suffice it to say that theso are re
commended by our most popular and scientific physi
cians, and in their present combined slate, form pro*
bably the best alterative that has ever been made.-*-
The cure is in accordance with fl theory of gonsump*
tion broached in France a few years ago, by one of j
her most eminent writers on medicine* and now es*
tabllshed by facts which aamil of no dispute.
Very respectfully Vours, L. C. GUNN,
To use the language of another, “Dr. Drake's Pa
nacea is alwoys salutary in its effects—never injuri
ous* It is not an Opiate—it Is not on Expectorant,
It is not intended to lull the invalid into a fatal secu
rity. It Is a great remedy—a grand healing and cu
rative compound, the great and only remedy which
xncdjcal science and. v pki)l has yet produced for the
treatment of thlshltherto unconquered malady. And
no person afflicted with this dread disease, will bo
just to himself and his friends, if he go down to the
grave without testing its virtues. A single bottle, In
most cases, will produce a favorable change in the
condition of any patient, however low.**
TO THE LADIES.
Ladies of pale complexion aud consumptive habits
and such as are debilitated by those obstructions
which femdles afo liable to, are restored by the use
6t a bottle or two, to bloom and vigor* It is by for
the best remedy over discovered for weakly children,
and such as have bad humors; being pleasant, they
take it. Itimmediatcly restores the appetite, strength
and color.
Nothing con be more surprising than its invigorat
ing effects on the human frame. Persons, all weak
ness, and lassitude before taking it, at once become
robust and full of energy under its influence. It Jm*
mediately counteracts the nervelessness of the female
frame. *
