atic lions, splendid specimens of both
varieties; the true Ibex, captured in
Abyssinia during the incursion of the
English against the Emperor Theodo
vas; moister white grizzly bear from
Alaska, beside dr zens of varieties of
different wild animals which can be
seen in the dens Signor Bazaine, the
renowned lion king will enter there
dens during each performance. The
circus will he found excellent in all its
d( partments, and comprises the fol
lowing in its long list of talented ar

manege; Little Maly Brown, the pre

and Mlle Jo.,ephine. the dashing eques
trienne. There will also be a gland
street parade about 10 a. in. Admis
sion, 50 cents; children under 10 years

At this exhibition the people will
find the circus and 11Ionagerie de
partments replete with all that com
bines to interest, amuse and instruct,
Great expense has been lavished upon
the paraphernalia.of the concern, and
it will be with the price of admission,
(which is the sarhe lilt both depart
ments,) to witness the grand street
parade that will. take, place in the
moruing This will probably be the last
show of the season, and lovers of sport
and admirers of animals will govern
themselves accordingly:.

will commence on Tuesday next. Wo
hope the farmers, mechanics, and eve-
rybody interested in the 'success of the
Fair will not fail to bring something
for exhibition. The town will be full
of people and they should help to fill
the fair grounds' with 'something. to
look at. We expect 'the exhibition
will be a grand success.
ACCIDENT.—Mr. llorutio Fisher, of
this place, while riding in a 'sulky on
the back road on Wednesday last, was
thrown to the ground by the vehicle
coming in contact with a cow lying in
tho road. The horse i'an on, but was
stopped before it, had run far, In at
tempting to get in the sulky again ho
sprained his ankle severely by getting
caught in the lines.
