the car that helped to arouse us. At
Montana a young man and a young
woman came on board the sleeping

It is needless to remark that a peal
of laughter rang from one end of the
car to the other, under cover of which
John slunk back to the solitary seclu
eion of his "bunk," leaving Mariar to
the undisturbed possession of her mar
riage license, which she interpreted to
permit no libense to John until accom
panied by the proper certificate. And
