lie had long seen and felt the want of soma remedy
which would strike at the roet of disease. and so pre

then compelled to etionre. •
This great question wan presented to hi- mind every
day in vivid colors as he rooted among the sick and
and observed the inefficiency of Grit ly all the remedies
then In use. Thus he was led to think and experiment;
and after ten years' study and labor. he pres-uted is his
fellow-man the wuridei tul Zings'i Bitters. The effect of
this preparation in the prevention and cure of dos use
was so marvellous and astonishing, that the most flatter
ing marks of royal favor were bestowed upon him who
discovered it. ilis name was placed UV! the Roll of
Nobles, and a gold medal with the folluwing inscription
—Dr. B.Choupin.i, the Putrid_ Renefictor—Was presented
to him by the Viceroy.
The preparation has been used in .everaletiblemics of
cholera, both as a preventive and curative measnre, and
with such great success, that it has been introduced Into
nearly all she general hospitals of the oil world.
The old saying that an ounce of prevention is worth a
pound of cure. applies with marvellous force to cholera.
and therefore any remedy that will protect us against
this terrible disease should be freely and persistently

All pathologists now ail ee that thecbolera poison acts
00 the system through the blood. and that any combina
tion which acts on the excretory ursine, and keeps them
in working order, must prevent a sufficient accumulation
of the poison to exert its terrible effects on the organism.
This is true not only of cholera, bpt of nearly all other
maladies, especially the different forms of fever.
The Zingari Bitters iSjust such a remedy as the above
conditions require. It acts on the organs of excretion
and secretion• keeping up a perfect balance between
them. This Bitters is composed entirely of roots and
herbs, so nicely concocted that every organ is acted upon
