Six Weeks ago there was not a house in that place —now;it is a flourishing town of more than six hundred inhabitants, and Las a daily trans ient population of as many more. A $20,000 hotel has been erected, and is doing a "land office" business. The . town, like all frontier towns, -is said to be a fast one—supporting billiard halls, (one with six tables,) faro, monte and keno banks, and the usual "con comitants" that ge t nerally flourish in fast burghs.
